The Community Foundation of Central Missouri conducted CoMoGives, an end-of-year giving campaign that funneled donations to local non-profit organizations, in December 2013. CoMoGives provided an online portal for persons to donate to local Columbia charities. Donors had 30 options covering 7 non-profit services categories: animals, arts and culture, community, education, health, human services, and youth. Donors were directed to the dedicated website www.comogives.com to make donations to one or more of the participating charities. Donations were received only December 1-31, 2013. Thousands of copies of a 48 page giving guide were distributed throughout Columbia in mid-late November and December to urge prospective donors to go to comogives.com to make their end-of-year gifts. Donors chose their organizations to support and in what amount. To spice up the campaign, the Community Foundation of Central Missouri offered 4 grants to any participating organizations that met specific donation challenges. The results are now in, http://www.canadianpharmacy365.net/do-not-let-the-media-scare-you-from-using-a-canadian-pharmacy/ were $62,250. The top five CoMoGives Leaderboard at the end of the campaign listed PedNet Coalition $10,204, Central Missouri Humane Society $7,855, Job Point $5,380, Community Foundation of Central Missouri $4,950, and New Wave Corporation KOPN $4,820. Unexpectedly, yet happily for them, one participating organization, PedNet Coalition, won all four challenge grants totaling $6,000. The grants were $1,000 for highest total donations, $2,000 for highest number of individual donors, $2,000 for highest number of donors 35 and under, and $1,000 for the highest number of donations $250 and up.
