Community Support and Impact Grants for 2024
The Community Foundation of Central Missouri (CFCM) is pleased to offer Community Support Grants from its Community Granting Fund in 2024. Support Grants help fund new or existing programs where modest financial support can make a positive impact. Grants are available in amounts of $500, $1,000, and $1,500. Not all applications can or will be funded.
The 2024 granting process for Community Support Grants is detailed HERE. The online application link for Community Support Grants is live and can be accessed HERE. The application deadline is July 31, 2024.
CFCM is also offering Community Impact Grants to two organizations, each receiving a $5,000 award. These Impact Grants are program/project based and aim to make a significant impact in the mid-Missouri area.

Examples of 2023 Community Impact Grants
The following two organizations received Impact Grants for their exemplary and creative programming in 2023:
- Impact Activity Center: $5,000 for the “Chill Zone for Youth” project, promoting equal opportunity and education.
- Vidwest: $5,000 for the “Media For Youth: A Workshop Series for the Moving Ahead Program,” enhancing workforce training and diversity efforts.
Examples of 2023 Community Support Grants
The following organizations received grants to help them with their service delivery and operations. Each grant ranged from $500 to $1,500:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri: $1,500 to support the pairing of littles and bigs.
- Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center: $1,000 for “Safety Equipment for Special Needs Riders.”
- The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri: $1,500 for “Market 2 Meal Printed Pieces.”
- Fresh Start Sober Living Programs: $1,000 for a “Fresh Start Clubhouse.”
- Mareck Center for Dance: $1,500 for “DanceREACH Program & Student Scholarship Fund.”
- MU ParentLink: $1,500 for “Purchase of Essential Baby Items to be Distributed by ParentLink.”
- MU Thompson Foundation for Autism & Neurodevelopment: $1,500 for “Group Intervention Support at the Thompson Center.”
- Rock the Community: $1,000 for “Rock the Resources.”
- Valley Hope Association: $1,500 for “Patient Assistance Program.”
These grants empower local nonprofits to continue their invaluable work, making a lasting impact on the community.
